Larry Ciccarelli

Mr Larry Ciccarelli

Chairman
Larry was the Executive Chairman and founder of GlobeStar Mining Corporation, previously a TSX-listed company, until its recent acquisition by Perilya Ltd (ASX: PEM). Globestar owned base and precious metal mining assets in the Dominican Republic. He founded Sarmin in 1997, which was a private natural resource corporation, prior to its acquisition by GlobeStar. Larry currently holds the position of Director and Company Secretary at Karr Securities Inc., a private investment firm, where he has worked since co-founding the company in 1989. He is also currently the Chairman of Karmin Exploration, a TSX-listed mining and exploration company with an interest in one of the largest undeveloped zinc projects in Brazil. Larry holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Western Ontario. He received an Ontario Business Achievement Award (OBAA) and the Ontario Global Traders Award (OGTA) from the Ontario Chamber of Commerce in 2009. In 2010, Larry was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (“EOY”) finalist, for his role as founder of GlobeStar Mining Corporation.

Dr Len Humphreys

Dr Len Humphreys

Chief Executive Officer
Dr Len Humphreys was instrumental in the conception and development of IER’s Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor (‘Cat-HTR) Process, and is the inventor of a number of patents around the process. Len is a Chartered Chemist and is the former Director and Managing Director of several conventional and renewable energy and information technology companies; including the Australian Biodiesel Group, Novera Energy, a UK-based renewable energy company, and the ASX-listed IBA Health (now I-Soft), a healthcare IT software provider. Earlier in his career, Len held Managing Director and Regional President roles inside the European Invensys Group of companies. Invensys is one of the world’s largest IT, process control and industrial process automation companies. Prior to joining Invensys, Len was a senior executive inside the Mannesmann Group, a German multinational company specialising in engineering, manufacturing and telecommunications; in particular, he was the CEO of the Hartmann and Braun Process Analytical Division (based in the UK).

Matthew Reynolds

Mr Matthew Reynolds

Non-Executive Director
Matthew Reynolds is a Partner of HWL Ebsworth, whose particular skills centre on capital raising from early stage private equity through to ASX listings, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and in mergers and acquisitions. He is a key figure in HWL Ebsworth’s Corporate practice with high-level skills in areas that are stringently regulated and highly technical, working on the principles of close working relationships and the need to meet their specific objectives. Matthew has applied his skills in the energy and resources, technology and the infrastructure sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Political Science and Economics (Hons), a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and is a member of the Queensland Law Society.

Jim Overton

Mr Jim Overton

Jim is the co-founder and manager of Amplify Energy, a private North American oil and gas exploration company. Jim is also a private investor and partner across a wide range of industries. Jim has worked as Vice President of Gastar, a gas exploration company, Director of Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL overseeing all business administration and revenue generating aspects of the team and as a Board Member of the Moffitt Cancer Center.

Mr Paul Axon

Mr Paul Axon

Paul has vast experience of M&A, corporate finance and general management in Europe and Australia. Previously Paul was a partner in corporate finance in BDO in the UK, had his own M&A practice and was the CEO of Sykes Pumps, until the sale of the business to National Hire in 2010. Currently Paul is the CEO and equity holder of Coco Group. Coco Group invests in and manages a vast array of businesses in Australia and the Middle East. Business sectors include equipment rental, mining services, retail, biotechnology and resources.

Mr Daniel Young

Mr Daniel Young

Dan Young is Wood Mackenzie’s Head of Consulting for Asia Pacific, responsible for the origination and direction of the company’s consulting projects for clients in the region. Dan has 20 years experience in energy and natural resources advisory and consulting, including most recently 13 years with J.P. Morgan’s global energy investment banking coverage/mergers & acquisitions group. Dan was head of energy coverage for South East Asia and South Asia based out of Singapore with J.P. Morgan. Earlier he spent 9 years with the bank in the London office in the same global group. Dan has advised a wide range of clients including NOCs, IOCs, large, mid and small cap E&P companies, downstream R&M players, trading companies, services companies and power & utilities companies. Dan has an MBA with Honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce with Firsts in Finance and Accounting from the University of Western Australia. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Accountant.
